Ian E Foster

BSc (Hons), MSc, DC, LRCC

Ian grew up in South West London where he developed a keen interest in sports and outdoor activities.
He worked in the public education sector and private information technology industry prior to sustaining a spinal injury. It was after his GP recommended he see a chiropractor, whose treatment and advice made such an improvement where others were unable to help, that Ian chose to change his career to chiropractic. He studied at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with honours and awards in 2003, before moving to Derby and joining Highfield Chiropractic Clinic.
He has published work in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, been involved with several charities, including the National Osteoporosis Society and has a particular interest in chronic pain, spinal rehabilitation, and sports injury and prevention.
Ian is a keen runner, walker and enjoys scuba diving. Most of his spare time is spent with his wife Lucy and mad dog Benson.
